Check out the highlights of our scavenger hunt promotion for The Dark Knight Rises at Comic-Con.

The goal was to create a fun experience for Batman fans attending Comic-Con. We leaked out a special Twitter handle that fans could follow to receive updates on the promotion. Then, at specified times, we released the locations where the Bat Signal was projected onto building walls around San Diego. Those who found it, and tweeted their photo to @BatSignalSearch were automatically entered to win a random drawing.

250 winners got limited-edition The Dark Knight Rises posters created by cult screen printer Mondo. Five grand prize winners got private screenings of The Dark Knight Rises for themselves and their friends back in their home towns, before the film was released to the public.

I think you can see that we caused a bit of a stir in San Diego, tough to do with all of the Comic-Con madness to compete with. And we definitely gave fans something fun to do at night.
